    Purpose, Key Values, and Distinctives

Reign Dance Theater desires not only to train youth in the arts of ballet and theater, but also to share a life of hope in Jesus Christ and inspire youth in this generation to use the creative arts to shine the light of that hope in the world around them.

While much of the dance world today is marked by intense rivalry in an environment that undermines godly character development, Reign Dance Theater holds to the following values:

  • Each student is uniquely created by God with differing gifts and abilities to be developed and used for His glory.
  • While good posture and physical training can enhance the health, appearance, and performance of the body, emphasis is given to the fact that true beauty and strength come from a heart and life that is pure before God and others.
  • The art of ballet can be learned and enjoyed without the necessity of wealth, inappropriate movement, or indecent costuming. God can be praised through the art of dance.
  • God has given in His Word, the Bible, everything needed for life and godliness.

  • Classical ballet training in a positive, family-friendly atmosphere that promotes modesty and moral purity,
  • Character development through godly role models and biblical scripture memory,
  • Quality theatrical productions which integrate the art of dance with the life-changing message of Jesus Christ.

"Do everything without complaining or arguing, so that you may become blameless and pure, children of God without fault in a crooked and depraved generation, in which you SHINE LIKE STARS in the universe as you hold out the word of life." - Philippians 2:14-16a.

"We are grateful that our children are learning classical ballet and growing in their ability and love for dance.
